Rederij Groen has acquired another Offshore Support and Patrol vessel in October 2017.
The former Dutch border patrol vessel, a Damen built “Stan Patrol 3407” ,was named “FURORE-G “. She approached and entered the Company’s home port of Scheveningen in the morning of October 19 , 2017 after an extensive yard stay. The “Furore-G” measures 34 meters length over all x 7 meters width and has a tonnage of 206 GT. The vessel can be manned by 5 crewmembers and can carry up to 12 passengers.
During the yard stay the vessel was recommissioned, re-flagged to Panama flag and Classed by Lloyds Register. Next to these formalities the company decided to upgrade and duplicate some of the ships equipment for elevated reliability and redundancy and also improve the endurance of the vessel.
The “Furore-G” is powered by two Caterpillar C32 diesel engines with a total output power of 2088 kW ( about 2800 hp) . During sea trials an average top speed of 15.8 knots through the water was achieved and recorded in an official statement by Lloyds Register.
An FRC can be launched via a slipway in the stern, being able to act as Semi-Standby and rescue vessel as well.
By having this additional feature the “Furore-G” can be utilized in all aspects of the Offshore support , Guard and Renewable energy markets.

Rederij Groen heeft in Oktober 2017 een Offshore Support en Guard schip toegevoegd aan haar bestaande vloot.
De “Furore-G” , Een voormalig patrouile vaartuig van de Koninklijke Marechaussee, een Damen “Stan Patrol 3407“ is op donderdag 19 oktober de thuishaven Scheveningen van Rederij Groen binnen gelopen na voltooiing van een uitvoerige werfbeurt. De “Furore-G” meet 34 mtr lengte over alles x 7 mtr breedte en heeft een tonnage van 206 GT. Het schip wordt bemand door 5 bemanningsleden en biedt plaats voor maximaal 12 passagiers.
Tijdens deze werfbeurt is het schip opnieuw inbedrijfgesteld , omgevlagd naar Panamese vlag en is het onder Lloyds Register klasse gebracht. Naast deze formaliteiten heeft de Rederij er voor gekozen diverse systemen te vervangen en/of te dupliceren teneinde de bedrijfszekerheid en inzetbaarheid van het schip te vergroten.
De Furore-G heeft een totaal voortstuwingsvermogen van 2088 kW (2800 PK) wat wordt opgewekt door twee Caterpillar C32 motoren . Tijdens de proefvaart is een gemiddelde top snelheid behaald van 15.8 knopen , alwaar Lloyds Register een officiele statement op heeft afgegeven .
Tevens is het schip uitgerust met een Snelle Reddingsboot (FRC) welke via een opening in de achtersteven gelanceerd kan worden. Hierdoor is het schip tevens inzetbaar als Semi-Standby en Rescue vessel.
Door deze uitgebreide eigenschappen is de “Furore-G” multifunctioneel inzetbaar op het gebied van Offshore Support, Guard en Renewable Energy.
